8. Incorporating FDOs into the Helmholtz KG: A requirement analysis

  • Abstract: Helmholtz KG & FDO are two key technologies developed in HMC. This breakout session will include an overview of how these two technologies look like. Then we perform a requirements analysis in order to determine the needs for harvesting and integrating FDOs into the Helmholtz KG. The discussion will also include discussing a suitable semantic representation of an FDO and the potential adaptation of the Helmholtz Digitization Ontology accordingly. We will inquire about the participants' views on how beneficial integrating this will be for the Helmholtz community.
  • Objective: Determine the requirements for successfully integrating FDOs into the Helmholtz KG.
