Financial support
It is our aim to make the conference financially accessible for everybody. A prerequisite for financial support is an active scientific contribution that is accepted as a talk or poster by the Scientific Advisory Board. If you have submitted an abstract and require financial support, please do not hesitate to contact the conference office at npa-xi@tu-dresden.de stating your support needs. We especially encourage young participants to attend!
- For selected international participants, partial financial support is available, covering part or all of the travel and accommodation expenses. If you are affiliated to an institution outside Germany and require financial support, please contact the local organizing committee by 10.05.2024 at npa-xi@tu-dresden.de stating the amount of financial support you require and giving a reason why the expenses cannot be covered from other sources. Young participants will be favored when assigning financial support.
- Individual Members of the European Physical Society (EPS) may apply for an Individual Member Travel Grant. NPA-XI is recognized as a Europhysics Conference.
- For young participants affiliated to German research institutions, generous partial support is available via the WE Heraeus foundation communication program. This support is administered by Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft and must be applied for by the participants separately. - Information on the program and application is available here.
- For young participants affiliated to US research institutions that take part in both the NPA XI conference and the NPA XI school, there is generous support available from the IReNA network. Please contact npa-xi@tu-dresden.de for further details regarding this possibility.
