Wi-Fi

On the campus of the university of Würzburg Wi-Fi is almost universally available. The locations of access points are marked by blue "wireless" signs. Those access points offer the networks eduroam and the public @BayernWLAN which is open to everyone.

Guests who want to use eduroam must configure their devices in accordance of the rules of their home institution. If you have questions we refer you to your home institutions.

All users without access to eduroam can use @BayernWLAN which offers public access to the Internet without requiring any credentials. @BayernWLAN is provided by Vodafone on behalf of the state of bavaria. More Information: forum.vodafone.de/t5/Bayern-WLAN/bd-p/BayernWLAN.
