Public transportation
The low budget option is to take the public bus, nr 55, that brings you to Reykjavík BSI bus terminal in 1:15h for about 16€.

Last direct connection 18:42. Later you can still take the public buses but would have to change in Fjörður to bus nr 1 to Hlemmur. Please check out the schedules.
