COVID info

Today at CERN there's only one restriction in relation with COVID:

  • A positive case is not allowed to enter the CERN site.
    Participants do not need to be tested before coming to prove it. But participants feeling sick prior arriving should stay at home. If a participant develops COVID symptoms during the conference, he/she must declare himself to the organizer and HSE. A test will be performed. If the test is positive, the participant has to be isolated and, if he/she is located in a CERN hotel, he/she will be replaced in an hotel outside to the CERN site. The cost for the replacement is supported by the CERN. By a positive case, the organizer in collaboration with HSE will perform a close follow up of the case and contact tracing.

The organizers will provide two self-tests for each participants, in case they would like to test themselves.
