Group seminar of the Laser-Particle-Acceleration Division (FWKT). Registration is closed, for last-minute bookings or cancallations, please contact the organizers directly.

General information:

  • We start at 10:30 from Bahnhof Neustadt. We expect this approximate location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/T7x8nofiAQP8RmF1A 
  • The JH Binz is located here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/d2fsuBAprvqJdX1i9 (https://www.jugendherberge.de/jugendherbergen/binz/)
  • Arrival in Binz is planned around 18:30. There will be dinner (warm) in the JH Binz.
  • The bed linen will be provided by the JH Binz, Towels, etc. everybody is asked to bring their own. (You can also buy towels at the JH Binz, if neccessary...)
  • We will have breakfast and dinner at the JH Binz. For lunch everyone puts together his/her own packed lunch at the breakfast buffet.
  • The table with the schedule is available here: https://events.hifis.net/event/2863/ - we will need to stick to the schedule with regards to the time everyone has.
  • On Tuesday afternoon we plan for a bike trip to Sassnitz and the chalk cliffs (Wissower Klinken). About 20km/25km one way. If you need a helmet please bring your own. (just to get an impression: https://maps.app.goo.gl/unaZzv2quqEqya9YA)
  • Tuesday evenning we will have a barbecue.
  • On wednesday the bus will start at 10:00 o'clock in the morning.
    We are not allowed to bring any beverages to the JH Binz, especially alcohol.
  • For the meals we have ordered 10x no pork, 25x vegetarian. Please respect the eating habits of the others. ;)
  • We have for our retreat the main dinning room (outside of the breakfast and dinner hours) and two additional smaller rooms.
  • Feel free to bring some table top games, etc. (or something to do on the beach, e.g.) for the free time we have.
