Optional Social Event

On Wednesday at 16:00, we invite you to join a guided tour of the Charité Museum’s permanent exhibition Tracing Life. This fascinating exhibition offers unique insights into the history of medicine and biomedical research, making it a perfect complement to the BigBrain Workshop.

If you’d like to take part, please sign up at the registration desk by Wednesday, October 29, at 12:00 noon. The entrance fee is 6 €, which we will collect in advance to purchase group tickets.

Places are limited, so be sure to secure your spot early.

From the anatomical theater to the laboratory to the ward - join us on a journey through 300 years of medical history along the highlights of our permanent exhibition.

During the tour, you will not only learn about the milestones in the history of medicine, famous personalities and individual medical histories, but also about the aberrations and dark sides of medicine. In the heart of the permanent exhibition, the specimen hall, which contains around 700 specimens and models, you will learn more about the origins of the former Pathological Museum as well as the development and background of the collection.
