2023 HZDR SCIENCE CONFERENCE

The 2023 HZDR Science Conference is dedicated to fostering scientific cooperation and exploring novel research directions at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf. Its goal is to identify emerging talents and provide a space where scientists from diverse fields can collaborate and exchange ideas.

The conference is a great opportunity for young researchers to showcase their professional achievements and share their breakthroughs with local colleagues. The event is for HZDR personnel only.

We encourage the active participation of PhD candidates, postdocs, group leaders, and department heads who are passionate about advancing scientific knowledge and forging meaningful connections.

You may give a comprehensive 15-minute talk or an exciting 5-minute pitch to explain how your research makes a difference (the type of presentation should be decided in coordination with the director of your institution). 

In either case, we ask you to upload an abstract in the PDF format containing up to 200 words and one figure. There is no abstract template.

You may also register and participate without a contribution. The seating for the event is limited and operates on a "first come, first served" basis.

The 2023 HZDR Science Conference is an in-person event. We believe that the spirit of collaboration is best nurtured through face-to-face engagement. No Zoom transmission is planned.
