ARE YOU CURIOUS ABOUT HOW YOUR RESEARCH COULD MAKE AN IMPACT BEYOND THE LAB?

The Entrepreneurship Essentials Course is here to spark your entrepreneurial mindset and open up exciting new pathways for applying

your science and training outside of academia.

Throughout the course, you will dive into three dynamic areas:

  • Entrepreneurship: discover what it means to think and act like an innovator.

  • Translating research into business value: learn how to turn your scientific insights into practical solutions.

  • Intellectual property: understand how to protect your ideas, disclose them effectively, and create real value.

This is not just theory you will work in groups to develop a business idea, ideally linked to one member’s research and bring it to life

using powerful startup tools such as the Lean Startup approach and the Business Model Canvas.

By the end, you will not only gain a fresh perspective on your research but also hands-on experience in shaping ideas into impact.

This course is your chance to explore entrepreneurship, collaborate, and unlock new opportunities for your scientific journey.
