Description
openMINDS is a metadata framework for neuroscience graph databases, such as the EBRAINS Knowledge Graph. The framework is composed of (i) a set of interlinked metadata models formalizing different aspects of neuroscience data descriptions, (ii) libraries of controlled metadata descriptions for selected schema types (e.g, brain atlas schemas), (iii) mappings of schema types and properties to other metadata standardization efforts, and (iv) supportive tooling. In this talk, the application and functional impact of openMINDS is demonstrated for BigBrain data representations within the EBRAINS research infrastructure.
