Course content:
The participants will get to know different tools (push and pull services) to always keep track of recently published literature. This workshop will focus on
• Table of Contents Alerts (TOC)
• Saved Searches
• Search Alerts (SDI)
• Citation Alerts
We will use Scopus, Web of Science, Journal TOCs, and Google Scholar. Participants can also try out a feed reader and subscribe to RSS feeds.
Target group:
Master Students, PhD candidates, and Postdocs
Pre-requisites:
Participants are expected to bring a laptop with VPN. An up-to-date version of your browser is required; Firefox is recommended.
