Tickets for Public Transport in Dresden
Tickets can be bought at vending machines located at many bus and tram stops, and other locations. Details on points of sale here.
All your trips will be in Fare Zone Dresden ("Tarifzone Dresden"), price level "A1". Different tickets exist:
- Single Trip (60 minutes): 3.20 Euro.
- 4-Trip Ticket (4x60 Minutes): 11.40 Euro.
- Daily Ticket (until 4am next morning): 8.60 Euro.
- Weekly Ticket (7 calendar days, including the day of purchase): 27.90 Euro.
If you will use public transport to reach the conference venue every day of the conference, a weekly ticket is the most economical (and care-free) option.
Please remember to validate your ticket before each trip (single trip tickets), or the first time you are using them (daily, weekly ticket), using the machines in the bus or tram.
