Travel
The Saxon state capital is integrated into the international networks of all major modes of transportation. Numerous air and rail connections serve the city and Dresden is also easy to reach via highways and main roads.
Arrival by car:
- A4 from the west (Cologne-Eisenach-Chemnitz)
- A4 from the east (Wroclaw-Görlitz-Bautzen)
- A13 northbound (Rostock-Berlin)
- A17 connects the Saxon state capital with Prague
- In the direction of Magdeburg/Leipzig via the A14 and then via the A4
Dresden is also connected to the transport network via the federal highways B6, B97, B170, B172 and B173.
As an alternative way of getting to the city center and to avoid traffic searching for a parking space, it is advisable for day visitors to leave their car outside the city center and take the bus, S-Bahn or streetcar. In this context, the park-and-ride facilities located at the terminus of the streetcar and at the stations of the S-Bahn and regional trains are a special offer. The parking spaces are free of charge.
A dynamic parking guidance system shows drivers in the city center the way to the nearest underground garage, multi-storey parking lot or parking lot.
Arrival by train:
ICE, EC and IC trains stop at both Dresden Central Station and Dresden-Neustadt station. International destinations such as Wroclaw, Prague, Liberec, Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna can be reached directly.
Travel from the main station to the INNSIDE Dresden venue:

By public transportation:
From the main station, take line 3 (direction Wilder Mann) and line 7 (direction Weixdorf) to the Pirnaischer Platz stop. Duration approx. 5 minutes. Departure every 5 minutes.

Arrival by plane:
From your departure airport to Dresden (DRS). Then change to the S-Bahn S2 in the direction of Pirna to Neustadt station. Departure every 30 minutes.
From Neustadt station, take streetcar line 3 (direction Coschütz) to the Pirnaischer Platz stop. From there it is a 6-minute walk to INNSIDE Dresden. (Route here)
