We warmly invite all HZDR alumni, spin-off alumni and interested HZDR employees to a network dinner with our international alumni guests on Monday, 25 of September at 6 p.m at ElbeGarten Dresden. Our special guest will be Dr. Wolfram Drescher, serial entrepreneur and investor.
Wolfram has over 25 years’ experience in establishing and managing deep-tech companies. He is angel investor, as well as venture partner at Spacewalk VC and target partners. Wolfram co-founded and led Dresden-based Airrays (acquired by Xilinx), and previously co-founded Systemonic, which was later acquired by Philips, as well as Blue Wonder Communications, which was acquired by Infineon and later by Intel. Wolfram was also CEO and advisor of start-up Silectra, developer of a “cold split” technology for SiC wafers. The company was acquired by Infineon in 2018. Wolfram holds a Doctorate Degree and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden.
After Wolfram has presented his professional career, we want to get into conversation and exchange ideas with him and our international alumni. Over the course of the week, 13 alumni from the USA, Switzerland, France, Greece, Spain, the Czech Republic, Mexico, India, Turkey and Georgia will visit the HZDR to promote transfer collaborations.
