In this hands-on workshop you will be given an introduction to 

• Good practices for research software development and publication
• Using containers to create reproducible software environments
• Setting up Continuous Integration pipelines with GitLab for automated workflows

Prerequisites

This is an intermediate level course. To fully benefit from it, you should have a basic understanding of 

• The version control system git
• At least one programming language
• The code collaboration platform gitlab
