The HZDR Innovators School cordially invites you to the webinar open source technology transfer. Vladimir is going to talk about the general idea, ownership, commercial and non-commercial use, advantages, and risks.

The following points will be covered during his presentation:

  • What is open technology transfer? How open-source and technology transfer ideas relate.
  • How do you still own your open-source code/design/data?
  • Short introduction to open-source licensing types.
  • How open source can be commercially adopted: a few examples of open-source companies and ideas (business models) behind them.

This will be the first Open Transfer meeting; the additional aim is to understand the needs and questions of interested people.
If you have an interest in particular topics, please formulate questions and send them in advance or ask during the meeting.
