On February 22nd, 2023, we will have our annual Topic 3 PI meeting. Having introduced ourselves in an online meeting in 2020 and gotten to know each other’s research in our first in-person meeting at TZA in 2022, we now go a step further and want to vividly brainstorm on concrete points of interaction and joint interests. These discussions could lead to master thesis topics, grant proposals, further discussions, etc.
To prepare for our meeting, PIs have had the chance to display their Topic 3 relevant projects on a miro board and a task force identified future/planned or already ongoing projects, that will be discussed in this years’ PI meeting.
The agenda is currently under preparation and will be announced as soon as possible. We are planning some very short presentations on recent achievements and major steps as well as an outlook on the planning of PoF V which has just started. The core of the meeting, however, will be smaller discussion rounds on those projects identified by the task force.
The main goal of the meeting is to bring PIs and relevant researchers for these projects, like PhD students and postdocs, together in a creative environment. Up to seven discussion groups are planned to meet simultaneously at ZEA-2 (building 02.5U, room 110 (Ohm) and adjacent meeting rooms). For directions to the site, click here.

We will end the meeting with an informal lunch. For planning purposes, please make sure to have your significant PhDs and postdocs register as well.
