Introduction to the SynCom project “Early Warning for Natural Hazards”
- Identify knowledge, methods and tools within the POF Program “Changing Earth” relevant for development and improvement of early warning systems (EWS) – low hanging fruits for transfer (portfolio building).
- Map existing early warning structures for different hazards, key operational services and institutions, potential needs and links to our portfolio (landscape mapping)
- Agree on follow-up activities: dialog with operational services/institutions, follow-up stakeholder workshops, transfer activities (roadmap)
