Focus

The workshop aims to foster cooperation between working groups within Topic 6 and beyond.

For this purpose, the plan is to have three “Umbrella Talks” (15 Min each and discussions afterwards) on topics that concerns a large fraction of AWI scientists. The presentations will provide an overview of three topics, including emerging research within the topics, in order to inspire new cooperations. We will follow with four “Approach Talks” (10 Min each), which will stimulate new approaches to data analyses and are intended to foster multidisciplinary collaboration opportunities.

Breakout sessions

After lunch, we will form working groups based on the three topic presentations. This will allow for in depth discussions to plan and discuss future collaborations and combinations of methods and scientific perspectives.

This is a preliminary agenda, therefore the amount and specific topics of the breakout groups will depend on the number of people who will register for the workshop.
