HELMHOLTZ AI FFT SEMINAR 

On Thursday, 05 May 2022, the Food for Thought (FFT) seminar series will have five presenters from the Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ).

Ruth Schöbel (JSC, FZJ) from the 2019 Helmholtz AI funded project "AlphaNumerics Zero (aN0) - Improving simulations on high-performance computers" at FZJ, will talk about Diagonal SDC Preconditioning via Reinforcement Learning

Roshni Kamath, Alexandre Strube and Stefan Kesselheim, Helmholtz AI consultants at FZJ, will give insights on How to host a challenge on helmholtz-data-challenges.de

Esteban Vaca Cerda, PhD Student, Helmholtz AI young investigator group @FZJ, will give an overview on Orientation Distribution Analysis Of SLI-scatterometry Patterns Of Nerve Fibres with Unsupervised Graph Neural Networks

Timo Dickscheid, Head of the Helmholtz AI young investigator group @FZJ, will chair the session.

The Helmholtz AI FFT (food for thought) seminar series aims to facilitate knowledge exchange within the Helmholtz AI community (researchers and consultants) and the formation of topic-related interest groups within Helmholtz AI.

The seminars take place the first Thursday of each month, from 11:00 to 12:00, and consist of a 15-min talk from each speaker + 5-min Q&A dedicated to each speaker (facilitated via hackmd).
