Content

In this workshop the concept of managing data with the so-called "Content Curators", developed by the institute IAS-6 and adopted by the institute IET-1, is introduced. Their tasks include having an overview of projects, knowing best practices and accompanying on- and off-boarding.

In this context, 4 curation levels of data are identified that need to be considered in sound data management. It ranges from data that are only relevant to the particular user to data that are part of scientific publications. The Institute’s publication process includes several measures and reviews. When employees are off-boarded, this ensures that their data - provided it is highly relevant - is archived appropriately.
