The annual meeting of the NucAR (Nuclear Astrophysics with Storage Rings) collaboration will take in Dresden from 1-3 December 2025.
The purpose of the NucAR collaboration is to facilitate nuclear physics and astrophysics experiments at heavy ion storage rings around the world. Previously, this focused on exotic nuclei and comprises nuclear mass measurements and decay studies as well as nuclear reaction measurements. While the collaboration is rather small, experimentalists of all rare ion beam facilitate that feature one or more storage rings (GSI/FAIR, RIKEN, HIRFL/HIAF) are represented.
We have applied for limited financial support to facilitate the participation of of early career researchers.
