Course content:
If you want to know more about the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz/ Science Time Contract Act (the law that rules us all and regulates fixed-term contracts in academia), you will get an opportunity to do so during this Sea Seminar.
The speaker, Inge Kleemann, from the Union for Education & Science (GEW: Gewerkschaft für Erziehung und Wissenschaft) will address the following questions, among others:
- Who does the law apply to?
- What does the 12-year rule say, and how does it work?
- Is it possible to be employed via third-party funded positions until the end of your working life?
- What applies during parental leave or similar?
