Course content:
Participants learn how to assess whether a journal should be classified as a Predatory Journal.
The workshop will focus on
- What are “Predatory Journals”?
- What are “Hijacked Journals”?
- Evaluation tools: DOAJ, Master Journal List, Scopus Sources, Think Check Submit
- Examples of whitelists and blacklists
- What to do if it has happened?
Target group:
Mast Students, PhD candidates, and Postdocs
Pre-requisites:
Participants are expected to bring a laptop with VPN.
