Since its founding in 2019, the EKFZ for Digital Health in Dresden has established itself as a driving force for interdisciplinary research at the intersection of medicine, technology, and digitalization. With over 30 funded innovation projects, seven junior research groups, and four professorships, EKFZ fosters collaboration across the University Hospital and TU Dresden. Through initiatives like the Spring School "Clinicum Digitale", the center encourages students and early-career researchers to think beyond disciplinary boundaries and explore new ideas for the future of healthcare.
We look forward to visiting this dynamic research hub and learning how EKFZ connects people, ideas, and technologies to shape patient-centered medical innovation.
We will be speaking with Sabine Marschollek, Project Officer and Head of Administration, to gain insights into science management in this context. In addition, we will meet Dr. Sarah Tsurkan, Head of the Regulatory Affairs Office at EKFZ, and Dr. Elisabeth Fischermeier, who works at the EKFZ Grant Office and serves as Cluster Manager at SEMECO. Together, they will share their diverse career paths into (science) management and highlight different target positions within the field.
Please register until November 13, 2025 the latest.
