Gain first-hand insights into the diverse and complex tasks behind the scenes from the department leader Dr. Pablo Pérez Martín (former HZDR doctoral researcher).
From visa and residence permit support to housing, schools, daycare, language courses, and dealing with German bureaucracy – his team ensures that visiting scientists can fully focus on their research. They coordinate stays for researchers at all academic levels, from doctoral researchers to senior scientists on sabbatical, and help run more than 15 scientific events each year.
