Description

The third Dome Fuji Ice Core Project has been ongoing. The drilling using the deep drill started in the latest field season (Nov. 2024 - Jan. 2025) and reached the depth of 541 m, at the drill site called "Dome Fuji II Camp" (5-km SSW from the old Dome Fuji station).

In this presentation, we will report and summarize our activities from the preparation (including site selection) to the first drilling
season, mainly focusing on the field operations and logistics.
