Description

The goal of the Grant Writing Incubator - Write 2 Win is to provide a dedicated space and exclusive time for applicants, particularly postdocs, to focus on their writing. For four days, participants will have the opportunity to step away from the lab, leave behind their office desks, and eliminate distractions such as phone calls and meetings, allowing them to immerse themselves fully in the grant writing process - using the time to refine and develop their grant idea into a complete, well-crafted proposal.

Date: June 16-19, 2025

Language: English

Group size: max. 8

Who is eligible? The Grant Writing Incubator is designed for postdocs who are ready to take the next step in turning their previously discussed project proposal into action.

  • Participants must have a clear project proposal and be well-versed in the submission guidelines of the funding program (including deadlines, format, etc.).
  • Participants must have already discussed their project proposal with their supervisor or rather institute director.
  • Eligibility for funding must be clarified in advance with Carola Franzen, Barbara Schramm, or Birgit Gross (depending on the relevant research funding program) by an initial consultation.

Registration deadline: June 1, 2025

Changes to the program may occur.
