We are thrilled to invite you to our seventh and final interactive online workshop in the "Make Your Data FAIR" training series, presented by Stefano Rapisarda from Utrecht University Library. In this concluding session, we will reflect on our progress, address ongoing challenges, and explore new perspectives and directions in data FAIRness.
Throughout the "Make Your Data FAIR" series, we have introduced and discussed the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and their importance for data and other digital research objects. We also have discussed strategies to evaluate the FAIRness of digital objects and how to implement the FAIR principles in both data and software.
This final workshop flips the class: invited speakers will share their experiences and perspective on FAIRness, focusing on the practical challenges and motivations of making digital objects FAIR in research. Participants will then have the opportunity to share their own experiences in applying FAIR principles, discuss practical challenges encountered, and debate strategies for effectively integrating FAIRness into everyday research practice.
Key Takeaways
Join us to deepen your understanding and enhance your skills in implementing FAIR principles. We look forward to see you!
