Description

The objectives of the course are to prepare graduate students to present the results of their research to a wide variety of audiences. The course will focus on the analysis of the intended audience and purpose of the presentation, how to adapt the presentation style and structure to the audience and circumstances, the preparation of slides (and other material) and the delivery of the presentation. Throughout the course, students will be asked to prepare a presentation on their current research project to be delivered to the other participants.
