Description

Short Summary

The objectives of the course are to help graduate students develop or improve their writing skills. The course will focus on the structure of a scientific paper into its different parts, the content of each part/section and the relationship between them, the proper use of a scientific writing style and referencing. I will also rapidly review the various stages of the publication process (preparation, submission, revision, etc.) The course is based on an analysis of published papers and on simple and short writing exercises illustrating the concepts described above.
