Why use a reference manager?
Reference managers are designed to:

• track the source of a particular idea, picture, fact, or quote for proper citation later
• organize your references by research project in your individual collection
• import references from online databases, library catalogues & websites
• automatically format your references into any style you choose

In this course, we will look at some of the most common reference management tools such as EndNote, Zotero and Mendely. We will cover what citation management software is, what it can do for you, and some basic features will be demonstrated. The aim of the course is to help you to choose reference management software that will meet your needs.
