Welcome to the Python Basics Course

This course is designed to provide a solid foundation in Python programming. Whether you're new to Python or looking to refresh your skills, the course will cover the following topics:

  • Basic Python Functions: Writing and using functions effectively.

  • Comparison and Conditionals: Using logical operators to control program flow.

  • Lists, Loops, Dictionaries: Working with data structures and iterations.

  • Functions, Modules: Structuring your code and utilizing libraries.

  • Basic Plotting: Creating simple visualizations.

The aim is to equip you with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in these areas. Feel free to ask questions or explore further applications of what you learn.

Requirements:

  • Laptop with working internet connection
  • a working Python (version 3.x) setup (we recommend Thonny, which is a complete bundle)
