        AI Coding Assistants

In today’s fast‑paced software development landscape, AI‑powered coding assistants have moved from experimental curiosities to indispensable productivity tools. This hands‑on session, “Practical Sessions: Coding Assistants and How to Set Them Up – Level Up Your Skills,” equips participants with the knowledge and practical experience needed to integrate, customise, and optimise these assistants within their own development workflows.

Bring your laptop if you like to try the hands-on exercises. Everthing will be explained using VS code. Please install it prior to the session.

LLMs & AI Research Agents: scienceOS in Research Practice

ScienceOS is the AI Research Agent for researchers with high standards and limited time.

With access to over 220 million scientific documents, scienceOS provides well-founded answers with precise source references. Features such as PDF uploads, a personal library for up to 4,000 papers, and other intelligent tools make working with scientific literature faster. Complex algorithms ensure that reliable sources are prioritized.

The capabilities of scienceOS are presented through four typical challenges faced in everyday research: from quickly getting up to speed in new subject areas, to drafting and reviewing one's own texts, to targeted comparisons of publications and identifying particularly relevant sources and foundational works.

There will be plenty of time for questions and interaction with the presenters.

        Speaker: Henri Max Deda (ScienceOS)
