Description

Background

The HMC Project Call 2025 – funded by the Initative and Networking Fund (INF) – is inviting proposals for projects that tackle practical challenges in metadata generation and data enrichment. Selected projects can receive up to €200k in funding from the INF, which must be matched by participating centers with an equal or greater amount (≥€200k). Projects should be completed within two years. For more details on the current call and previously funded projects, please visit our HMC Project Call 2025 page and explore our past HMC projects.

During this information event, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the HMC Project Call 2025,

  • Connect with our Metadata Hubs and FAIR Data Commons

  • Ask questions in a live Q&A session

  • Meet potential project partners,

  • Pitch your project idea to find potential project partners (limited spots available –first come, first serve)

 

Target group

This event is open to all Helmholtz members and external partners (e.g. academic, non-profit or companies) interested in the HMC project call 2025.

Information on Pitch your Ideas:

  • Pitch your project idea to find potential project partners
  • Pitches should be 1-2 minutes (oral presentation, slides are optional) and give an inside of the project idea, goals, things you are looking forward to find in the meeting (e.g. project partner, specific expertise) 
  • Please register via participant registration
