we are happy to officially announce the 2025 Helmholtz AI Consultants Retreat! 

Location: Hotel Brauhaus zum Löwen
Felchtaer Str. 2-4, 99974 Mühlhausen / Thüringen

Start: Tuesday, Jan 28, 12:30-14:00 (arrival & lunch), welcome starts at 14:00.
End: Thursday, Jan 30, 14:00

If you plan to attend, please register by Fri, Dec 13.

For the retreat program we are looking for people who would like to co-organize the "Welcome & Icebreaker", "PubQuiz", "Thursday Morning Warm-Up" or "Wrap-up and Feedback" sessions. If you like to contribute to one of those session please indicate in the registration.

Make sure to join the retreat Mattermost channel where you can ask questions and get the latest info from the organizers.

An integral part of this year’s retreat will be a workshop on project management. As scientifically trained consultants working on diverse projects, we often face the challenge of coordinating multiple tasks and project phases simultaneously. Since many of us have not completed formal project management training, this workshop provides an opportunity to learn essential tools and methods that will help us manage projects more efficiently. This will enable us to apply our scientific expertise more effectively and to implement successful, well-structured projects with our partners.
