With this modular training, we want to give you the opportunity to become aware of your voice and how to use it in certain situations, such as presentations at conferences. Becoming aware of breathing in order to use the voice effectively plays a crucial role. In addition to a safe space for lots of practice and experimentation, you will receive extensive feedback, find your natural pitch, and learn how to deal with nervousness while remaining true to your own natural pitch.

Dates:

 Day 1: Nov 19, 2024 | in person | 9:00am to 5:00pm

Day 2: Jan 16, 2025 | online | 9:00am to 1:00pm

Please note that you must attend all two dates to participate. It is not possible to attend just one date as the content builds on each other. 

Agenda of each training day:

Day 1: 

  • Individual voice and impact analysis
  • Practical methods for dealing with nervousness
  • Breathing, voice and intonation exercises
  • Increasing awareness of voice, language and impact when presenting
  • Finding natural pitch
  • Methods for consolidating physiological abdominal and lateral breathing
  • Personalized feedback from the trainer and practical tips to put into practice

 

Day 2: 

  • Reflection: How did it work in practice?
  • Review of individual methods & answering questions
  • Digression: The use of voice and speaking in the digital space
