If you want to be successful in science, you have to be able to present yourself accordingly. This requires a scientifically appropriate appearance and the knowledge of your own competencies. Good self-confidence also helps you to present your skills verbally and in writing. The workshop aims to enable participants to recognize their starting position and determine their career goal. To this end, strengths must be identified and deficits addressed. An authentic appearance is required in science, for example at conferences or in discussions with colleagues. Through practical exercises your own optimal self-presentation will be developed. The workshop is primarily aimed young scientists in particular.
