  Official welcome, What to expect during the evening, and launch of the CDR Expertise Mapping
  
  We will explain the development process and present our final expertise mapping website. In a short "How To" guide, we will show how to effectively use our online tool.

  Dialogue and Dinner on Carbon Dioxide Removal
  
  During the networking dinner, industry, politics, and science will come together to discuss relevant CDR-related questions. The discussions will be guided by 2-3 experts per question. The participants can then freely contribute to discussions of their choice (comparable to a World Café format) and ask their own questions.
  
  The following questions will be discussed during the event:
  - a) What is the perception of CDR in the German society? - acceptance

  - b) How can politics contribute to a responsible and effective application of carbon dioxide removal methods? And how can the ramp-up of technologies be achieved in a timely manner given the required quantities?

  - c) Why do we need Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) and what could be possible strategies to implement MRV systems?

  - d) What should be improved in collaboration with science and how can we connect start-ups with bigger players/larger companies for technology development?

  - e) What is our current state of research on CDR methods? - research perspectives, overview of different technologies (e.g. DACCS, BECCS, marine technologies etc.)
