You want to work in Academia in the long term? Or are you still thinking about it and not sure what it requires? In either case, the Lunch Talk 'Success factors in Academia' is for you. With this interactive format, we would like to offer an opportunity to sharpen your sense for important career criteria in Academia:

 

What to expect:

 

-        Overview on relevant success factors in Academia: What is important to consider when planning a career in Academia? Mobility, Third party funding, Visibility / Networking and Supervision / Teaching will be addressed

-        Panel discussion with successful professors and group leaders from Forschungszentrum Jülich about their experiences and hints: What has helped them get to where they are now?

-        Exchange in small groups with the speakers: Q & A and get together.

How can you participate?

The event will take place at the IBG-2 but you also have the possibility to join online. If you join us in presence, you will have the opportunity to talk to the speakers while enjoying some snacks and drinks and get in contact with your fellows. Please let us know in the registration in what way you want to join us so we can plan accordingly.
