The OEMetadata Standard, with its recent update to version 2.0, is designed to meet the needs of this transdisciplinary field. Illustrated through practical examples, the key features and enhancements of the standard are presented. Followed by the introduction of an innovative Open Peer Review Process for Metadata aimed at fostering community engagement and ensuring the ongoing improvement of metadata practices.
