The GFZ Discovery Fellowships are awarded since 2018 by the GFZ Discovery Fund (former Topic Innovation Fund - TIF) and offer PostDoc positions for young scientists that aim at adding to the current and future direction of the GFZ's research. The projects are innovative scientific projects which identify future fields of research within the GFZ sections (the projects must be supported by at least two GFZ sections), must be assigned to at least on the PoF-Topics of the GFZ and have an interdisciplinary approach.
