This webinar will provide an in-depth exploration of the process of developing a profitable and sustainable business model. The session will focus on analyzing the business model environment, which includes the market, competitors, customers, and industry trends and introduce helpful methodologies and tools such as Porter's Five Forces analysis and PESTEL analysis. Attendees will learn how to engage with customers and users to gain feedback to iterate and refine their business model, and how to stay agile and adaptable in a rapidly changing business environment. 

Target audience: 

PhDs and Postdocs across the Helmholtz Association. This webinar may also be of interest for Helmholtz transfer and talent management offices (e.g. TTOs, Career Development Center and Graduate Schools), or Spin-off teams who are already pursuing a business idea.
