Call for Abstracts

Abstract Submission Details

You can submit an abstract for three types of contributions, related to teaching:

  • Talk: A 30-minute presentation (20 minutes talk + 10 minutes Q&A).
  • Workshops: A 60- or 90-minute hands-on workshop.
  • Poster: An A0 poster presenting your ideas, plans or experiences.

The submission deadline is July 14, 2024. Notification about acceptance will be send out on July 18, 2024.

Length of Abstract

The length of the abstract is limited to 300 words.

Language

English is the standard language at the conference. Abstracts should therefore be submitted in English, too.

Please note

Presentations and workshops do not need to be handed in before the event.

Additional information for workshops:

a) When submitting the abstract for your workshop, please provide answers to the following questions at the bottom of your submission:

  1. Do you need multiple rooms for your workshop? If so: How many? There are up to 4 rooms available.

  2. Do you need additional supplies, e.g., presentation boards, posters, white boards etc? If so, what and how many?

  3. Do you need a screen for a presentation?

  4. Do you need support from the orga team to deliver your workshop?

  5. Should we schedule 60 or 90 minutes for your workshop?

b) When planning your workshop, please take the following into consideration:

  • Workshops should be designed for up to 20 participants.
  • Workshops should include hands-on parts for participants, e.g., discussion rounds, brain-storming activities, tasks etc.
