Who are our guests?

We are happy to welcome Daniela Piaz Barbosa Leal and David Goyer to our talk. Daniela Piaz Barbosa Leal did her PhD in soil science at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2013. Today she works as a science manager at PTJ-BIO. David Goyer, who did is PhD in Neuroscience at the RWTH Aachen University, has worked as a scientific coordinator until just recently, when he became executive assistant to the Chair in February 2024. 

What is the main topic of the talk?

During this talk you will get more insight on the job of a science manager. What does a science manager actually do all day? What qualities or skills do I need to have in order to become a science manager? What obstacles might need to be tackled, especially as an international scientist?
