Time series data, especially if provided by some sort of measuring device, usually contains faulty and abnormal values. Identifying and labelling those anomalies is both, a prerequisite for usable data and a tedious process. SaQC is an open source software tool providing all measures to drastically simplify the quality control process in a reproducible and transferable manner. SaQC is developed within context of the DataHub https://datahub.erde-und-umwelt.de/de/tools-and-services

David Schäfer and Peter Lünenschloß are both members of the Research Data Management Team. They are both SaQC core developers as well as heavy users of the tool and quality controlled dozens of sensor data timeseries with billions of observations.
