Dr. Frank Holtrup is the Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer at Haystack Oncology, partly based at Start-up Labs Bahrenfeld. Haystack Oncology uses the next generation of circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) detection technology to determine success or necessary further treatment after surgical intervention at the earliest stage. He has an extensive background in cancer functional genomics and diagnostic assay development and over a decade of experience in liquid biopsy.
In his Role-Model Talk, he will share insights about his path from scientist to entrepreneur, how to translate scientific discoveries into innovative solutions and his experience managing a start-up.
We will discuss how Haystack Oncology adapted and exploited the new method of Liquid Biopsy to become the company they are today. Feel free to prepare questions; enough time is scheduled to answer them!
