The Mask Technology Center Dresden consists of two companies - Toppan Photomasks Germany GmbH and Advanced Mask Technology Center GmbH & Co. KG (AMTC) as a joint venture of Toppan Photomasks, Inc. and Globalfoundries. Together we develop and produce lithographic photomasks using the industry's most advanced production equipment. Such a technology alliance of leading companies in the semiconductor industry for the joint development and production of photomasks is unique in the world. Photomasks are high-purity glass substrates that contain precise images of integrated circuits (or semiconductor chips). Photomasks are an integral part of the production of integrated circuits on silicon substrates (wafer).

The company visit program is an event format to which the Postdoc Center HZDR-TUD and the Technology Transfer and Innovation department are jointly inviting. The aim of this program is to provide insights into various companies, to make contacts in the working world and thus to explore and expand professional networks in a wide variety of areas. Each time we go to a company (throughout Saxony), explore the company location, find out interesting facts about the global company and talk to management and employees from the departments about research and development, corporate culture and opportunities for cooperation.
